"Suddenly Last Summer" Staged Reading
The Off-Book Players present a staged reading of "Suddenly Last Summer" by Tennessee Williams.
Catharine Holly, a poor relation of the infamous Venable family of New Orleans, knows exactly why her cousin Sebastian died. Her story will shock and disturb all, including Sebastian's strong willed mother, Violet Venable.
It is for this reason that Aunt Violet wants Catharine lobotomized, but, first, Catharine must tell of the horrors of what happened suddenly last summer.
