An independent feature documentary, Besa: The Promise tells the little-known history of Albanian Muslims who saved Jews during the Holocaust. Through the images of photographer Norman Gershman and the words and deeds of the people who lived it - Besa: The Promise is one of the last great untold stories of World War II.
