| Description |
 Amy Goodman, the internationally acclaimed journalist who hosts Democracy Now!, is the most reliable investigative broadcast journalist working in the U.S. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Robert F. Kennedy Prize for International Reporting, the George Polk Award, and the Radio/Television News Directors' Award, as well as awards from the AP and UPI. Her brother David Goodman, also an award-winning journalist, and the author of six books, is a contributing writer to Mother Jones Magazine. Together they have published "The Exception To the Rulers" and "Static," both bestsellers, with combined sales approaching 150,000.
