  2013! "Savor the World"  Saturday, March 2, 7-10 pm
             
A benefit for Dunia Marketplace, a non-profit fair trade  organization with a retail store located in historic Hyde Park (1609 N. 13th). For 17 years, Dunia Marketplace has supported 1000's of artisans in 39 developing countries, as well as local refugee and non-profit groups in Idaho.

Join us for sweet and savory global foods, world music, artisan stories, and local wine and beer. There will be a silent auction. You will also receive a Sustainable Futures event glass to take home.
Tickets: $39.00 ($1 for each country represented)

Dunia Marketplace (formerly Ten Thousand Villages) is Idaho's only non-profit, certified, fair trade store. Dunia Marketplace works diligently to educate and spread awareness of the importance of Fair Trade  Fair Trade adult workers earn a living wage, have decent working conditions, and dedicate a majority of their earnings to educate their children. Locally, Dunia Marketplace provides an outlet for non-profit groups and refugees to sell their hand made items. Dunia Marketplace is mostly run by volunteers.

Funds received from Savor The World will be used to promote education and outreach for Fair Trade. globally and locally.
