Brinkage Events Partnered with WWU's Bass Music club presents the third incredible installment of Filthfest in Bellingham, WA at everyone's favorite venue: Chazzzam!
This year we bring you international talent on a level that Bellingham has never seen before. Bring on the low frequencies, and let's get filthy.

LIQUID STRANGER (Sweden)

Questions have always surrounded Liquid Stranger.
Rather than touting the typical electronic dance music trappings of hyper excess and ego, he chooses to slip back into the shadows, allowing his music to do all the talking and listeners to do a whole lot of wondering. As a result, that music has sent shockwaves throughout the entire genre. Over the course of six fulllength albums and a myriad of single releases, he's yielded worldwide hits as diverse as "Ripple", which claimed #1 on Beatport's Download Chart, and "Bombaclaad Star", which reigned supreme as the hub's #1 reggae track of 2011. "Shake My Ass" dominated the drum 'n' bass chart at #1, while his third album Private Riot has become a dubstep classic in its own right, solidifying him as a trailblazer.
However, he's bringing two worlds together into one on his forthcoming seventh album, The Renegade Crusade. Dubstep sorcery and Rastafarian grooves collide and cascade within a genre the dance floor has never seen before. The age of The Renegade begins now.

Since forming on the streets of San Francisco in 2008, Megalodon, has already made quite an impact on the dubstep scene. Hard at work in the studio daily creating fresh releases and charting tracks, the Los Angeles-based producer and DJ has been steadily gaining support from artists such as: Mistajam, Jakes, Plastician, N-Type, Hatcha, 16 Bit, and Mensah, as well as radio support from BBC1 and Rinsefm His original sound continues to spark the interest of listeners worldwide, who can look forward to forthcoming releases on labels such as Sin City, Basshead, Subway, Dubstar. 2013 is looking to be another big year for this unstoppable prehistoric beast.
SUB ANTIX (Montreal, QC) (FIRST TIME IN THE US)

Since as far as he can remember, Keith Stewart (aka Sub Antix) has been extremely musically inclined. Bringing influences from his past endeavours including piano composition and playing in a metal band, he finds a way to incorporate it all into the unique forms of electronic music he creates today. These productions have led him to the forefront of Canada's ever growing dubstep community and have also found their way into the cd wallets of artists such as Datsik, Downlink, Funtcase, Requake, and Brown & Gammon (BBC 1XTRA).

Fabricated in the Pacific Northwest, the newest weapon in the Bass Music arsenal has arrived - Diamond Pistols. Under the explosive moniker, Christian Dold hit his mark with two heavily blogged and downloaded giveaways, earning him an instant fan base. Dancefloors and the ears of industry leaders alike were set ablaze by this young producer's work, which immediately caught the attention of Excision, Datsik, Run DMT, Helicopter Showdown, Habstrakt and Downlink, on the short list. Rapidly gaining momentum, Diamond Pistols' trajectory is in motion as 2012 winds down with a remix of Helicopter Showdown and Kezwik's "No Return" on the Showdown's new digital imprint, Anemnesis Recordings. 2013 kicks off with a debut EP on Datsik's Firepower Records. Diamond Pistols also sees a remix of Kill City's "Get It Gritty" on Whiskey Pete's new Switchblade Recordings. With a busy performance schedule, a growing discography, and remix requests piling up, the entire bass music community has their eyes and ears firmly fixed on this young producer.
