Pepper Von Fierce Funk Master Class
epper Von is a national and international fitness educator, motivational speaker and co-owner of Step I Dance & Fitness in Sacramento, California. He is one of the top presenters for the International Sports Medicine Association. Pepper is founder of the World Aerobic Kickboxing Association International as well as a featured presenter for the California Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. As part of his professional fitness career, he has starred in more than ten fitness videos. As a Zumba Education Specialist, Pepper is one of the most sought-after presenters today. He also is the co-creator of F4 Fierce (a multi-dimensional, highly-charged fusion of fitness styles).
He has been performing on stage and screen for many years. Pepper was a featured co-host on the award-winning ESPN Fitness Pros. His numerous credits include appearances on NBC's Extra, MTV, NBC Television Emmy Awards, Fox's Say No to Drugs/Kids Reaching Out and the CW. Pepper has also appeared in the Cake music video No Phone.
Stage credits include Las Vegas on Stage (Japan), Inner City Games with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tops in Blue (World Tour) and Arabian in the Sacramento Ballet's Nutcracker.
Pepper's awards and honors include the Presidential Sports Award, Attorney General Award of Merit, Leadership Award of Excellence from the Health and Fitness Institute, Man of the Year for the American Athletic Association and Instructor of the Year of the American Aerobic Association International. Pepper has received two Elly Awards: one for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Smokey's Joe Cafe and one for Best Choreography of a Musical, Let's Go. He is a United States National Aerobic Champion, member of the International Kickboxing Team with two black belts, recipient of the Make Fitness Happen Award from the International Dance and Fitness Association, recipient of the Human Rights Award from the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports as well as an Award of Excellence from the Health and Fitness Institute.
Pepper has been featured in several publications including Shape, Hot Skins, Self, Hollywood Drama Log, Ebony Man, Swimsuit Illustrated, American Fitness Magazine, National Belly Dancer Magazine and spotlight stories in other magazine and newspapers too numerous to mention.
He is founder of the Hip Hop competition category of the AAU, judge for JAMZ (the National Dance and Cheer Championship) and has judged the scholarship awards for the Public Education Dance Alliance. Pepper is also a judge for the Sacramento Ballet's Capital Choreography Competition and trainer/master choreographer for world class professional fitness athletes.
He has appeared with several celebrities including music sensation Wycliffe Jean, Gregory Hines, Billy Blanks, Bill Belamy and Sinbad. He is mentor and inspiration for the world-renowned Jabbawockeez.
