The Muir Quartet Returns to Red Lodge SOLD OUT
The Muir String Quartet has appeared several times in the Music from the Beartooths series. They return again on February 25, 2018, as one stop on their annual appearance in Montana. The February concert will be in an intimate private home, with a fine selection of snacks, deserts and beverages; so there will be ample time to meet and chat with fellow music lovers. A wonderful way to spend a winter afternoon.
The Muir Quartet, though they are mainly based in Boston, have a long Montana connection. Cellist Michael Reynolds comes from the Bozeman area, where his family has had a long connection with music and the performing arts. Members of the Quartet often perform at several locations during the summer, and the entire Quartet generally do a tour with guest musicians in western Montana during the winter. Their Red Lodge appearance has been the only place they perform east of the mountains.
