The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, is happy to announce that our Planetarium is a Sundance Film Festival Outreach Site!
Mini film festival of award winning and cutting edge full-dome films including Award winning Domefest 2012 and films made by notable New Mexico artists and composers, films courtesy of UNM Arts Lab. Presentations by New Mexico research scientists on coral, global warming, and the planet Venus. Second and final showing of "Coral,Rekindling of Venue".
Morning 10am-noon. Award winning DomeFest 2012 films and lecture
Afternoon 1:30pm 3:30p.m. New Mexico produced films and lecture
Evening 4pm 4:30 pm - "Coral: Rekindling Venus",final Showing in Albuquerque!

See the Accompanying Exhibit at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science.
Temporary exhibit "ReKindling Venus: In Plain Sight" an exhibit of seven stunning coral images that are activated by an augmented reality (AR) application for smart phones and open a portal to the world's coral reefs. Also exhibiting a collection of real coral, from the Collections of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science.
Do note that tickets will not be transferred or honored from a different show time or date.
Please do plan to arrive and check in at least 15 minutes before each show. Due to the darkness of the Planetarium, late seating is never permitted, sorry no exceptions.
Ticket sales stop at 12:00am of the day of the event, if their are tickets available they will be sold at the door the day of the event.
