Organic Gardening 101
This is Seattle Tilth's introductory class about growing food organically. If you're just starting out, or you want a guide to the fundamentals, come learn the basic principles and techniques of organic gardening. We'll learn about the soil, plants, living organisms and growing food. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what constitutes an organic garden and what tools we have at our fingertips to enjoy growing food, flowers and herbs successfully and abundantly while supporting a healthy ecosystem. This four-hour class will be combination of indoor, show-and-tell style lecture and outdoor, hands-on work in the garden. Please bring a sack lunch and dress for messy garden soil.
