The Black Constellation: An Ode to Octavia (Part 13)
As part of Mw [Moment Magnitude], an exhibition of exceptional Seattle artists, the Frye Art Museum is pleased to announce an in-gallery concert by Black Constellation on January 12, 2012.

Black Constellation is an artist collective comprised of Shabazz Palaces and THEESatisfaction. The artists will perform An Ode to Octavia (Part 13), a sonic and kinetic ritual.

The performance will be in the Frye's Large Greathouse gallery, within the environment created by THROUGH HOLLOW LANDS, a massive light-sculpture by LILIENTHAL|ZAMORA.

Space for this in-gallery performance is very limited. Admission with this ticket is to a gallery adjacent to the performance space, with restricted or no visibility. Admission to the performance space may be available on a standby basis, first-come, first-served.

Mw [Moment Magnitude] continues at the Frye through January 20, with additional events through its concluding weeks. For schedule information, go to http://fryemuseum.org/momentmagnitude.
