Soup's On with Slow Food North Louisiana
Join Slow Food North Louisiana for our 2013 "Soup's On!" party, Sunday, February 17 from 5-7 pm at Marilynn's Place in Shreveport.
This year, Slow Food members and friends will dazzle each other's tastebuds with their best slurpy, steamy soups, stews, gumbos or chilis.
Got a famous family recipe? A favorite one-pot meal from the hunter's camp? We want to taste it.
Local chef friends of Slow Food North Louisiana will select a winning soup, which will afford the winner some serious bragging rights for the next year. Other prizes TBA.
Tickets are $20 (kids under 12 are free), cash bar available. Ticket proceeds support Slow Food North Louisiana.
Other details: Crockpots are recommended. So are ladles. A soup is not required for entry. Bring your friends!
