Team Up Presents Gigs4Good 14: Benefit for Outdoors For All, Chris Rudolph Scholarship Fund | Josiah and Charity of Head and the Heart, Smokey Brights, River Giant
Team Up For Nonprofits is proud to raise funds and awareness for The Outdoors for All Foundation and celebrate the life of Chris Rudolph, Marketing Director of Stevens Pass aka "An Amplifier of Life" and "Ambassador of All Things Rad".

OUTDOORS FOR ALL is a national leader and one of the largest nonprofit organizations providing year round instruction in outdoor recreation for people with physical, developmental, and sensory disabilities since 1979. The foundation's mission is to enrich the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation. Chris Rudolph was personally connected to the organization and the money raised during this event will go towards a "Chris Rudolph Scholarship Fund" at Outdoors for All.

Headlining the show are the much-loved Josiah Johnson and Charity Rose Thielen of The Head and The Heart. Also performing this evening are other Seattle favorites Smokey Brights and River Giant.

This Gigs4Good is scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Tractor Tavern. The show will start at 9 pm PT. Tickets go on sale to the public on Tuesday, January 8, and will be limited ($25 in adv | $30 at the door | 21+ only).

A live stream of the show will be hosted on our website for those who are not able to be there in person, as we know Chris' reach was both near and far.

The Tractor Tavern will be a very intimate setting and the show is guaranteed to be a touching experience for those who knew Chris and those who are supporters of Outdoors for All. Chris was a well-known outdoor enthusiast who passed away in a tragic avalanche along with two others, Jim Jack and Johnny Brenan, last February at Tunnel Creek in Stevens Pass. Chris was known for his kindness, generosity, having an immense passion for skiing and the outdoors, and for being a motivator and collaborator. He was someone who had a huge impact on the lives of those around him.

The Head and the Heart played an acoustic set (video to left) at Stevens Pass just days before the avalanche, so this show has special significance for the artists as well as the families and friends of those whose lives will be celebrated.

The New York Times recently told the story of the devastating avalanche in a highly-detailed and visually-compelling fashion, a six-part chronicle titled "Snow Fall: The Avalanche at Tunnel Creek."  It is a depiction of the tragedy that happened that day in February, the great person that Chris was, and summarizes why we're teaming up on February 8, a year after the avalanche, to honor him as well as Jim and Johnny. We look forward to sharing this special experience with you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support of this incredible Gigs4Good.

"Be the person your dog thinks you are." -Chris Rudolph
