STEREOTYPES - TeatriBU
The Basement Theatre brings you a night of international improv comedy!

TEATRIBU from Milano, Italy will be at The Basement for 1 night only performing their hilarious improvised show STEREOTYPES!

At the begininng of the show, the actors ask the audience for suggesting them three different stereotypical character of their city (or the region, the country, depending on where the show is set).
The show goes along with three stories, each one with one stereotype given by the audience as the main character.
The three stories are played in a different language each: italian, english and the language of the country where the show is played (if it's an english speaking country the third story will be silent).
It could be that the improvisers don't know but a few words of the language spoken by the audience, it may be that the audience don't know improvisers' language...
So "Stereotypes" is a little challenge and a game between audience and improvisers, that is trying to find a common language, an universal language: improv language, that defies and overcome language barriers.
