MLK Tribute Event featuring Terrence Brewer & Tammy Hall
Join us for a late night set at the Sound Room!
Enjoy the MLK festivities at the Paramount and then come on down the street for the after party. Or just come on over after dinner. We will be hosting Terrence Brewer on Guitar, Tammy Hall on Piano, Dan Parenti on Bass, and Rob Rhodes on Drums. This is a great line up of jazz!

Brewer has been playing and touring the US and internationally as a headliner for many years.  Billboard Magazine says "(Brewer's) guitar work is fluent, and his feel for the groove is unerring..." Bill Milkowski, writing for JazzTimes proclaims, "(Brewer is) A melodic improviser with an exquisite tone and an abundance of soul...",

Joining Brewer is the amazing pianist Tammy Hall. For the last 15 years, she has been successfully packing in local venues, thanks to a widespread rep for distinctive, lively performances of everything from jazz and Brazilian to classical - both original tunes and renditions.

Adding to the roster is Dan Parenti (D-Lucca), who is widely considered one of the top call bassists and is well known throughout the region, and Rob Rhodes (percussion) who has performed for over 20 years and is one of the most in demand drummers in the Bay area.
