Tours can be arranged for private and corporate groups on weekdays and weeknights.
Go behind the scenes of Chapel Hill and Carrboro restaurants and its renowned farmers' market (11am tour) to experience where 'farm-to-table' cuisine comes to life. Sample innovative and upscale southern dishes, scratch-made desserts, organic wine, local beer, and more. Known for being on the forefront of the Slow Food movement and for restaurants that have redefined Southern cooking, Chapel Hill/ Carrboro is one of the best places in the country to live and eat.
Meeting Time/Place: Meet in front of Open Eye Cafe, 101 S. Greensboro St, Carrboro, 15 minutes prior to your tour time. (Carrboro is a busy town on Saturdays, please give yourself plenty of time to park.) Public parking in Carrboro is available.

Note: Tour runs rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes; walking distance is approximately 2.5 miles. Tour runs 3 hours.
Please bring a government-issued ID if you plan on participating in beer and wine tastings.
Register in advance. If you are trying to register for a tour the morning of, please call 919 237-2254 to check availability. Sorry, no exchanges or refunds. If we have to cancel the tour due to extreme weather, we will refund your money.
