Cherry Blossom Cabaret's: Academy of Tease - "A HI-er Burlesque Learning Establishment." - Established August 2010. Burlesque is about loving your body, feeling beautiful, having fun and celebrating the glamour and beauty of being you!
The Academy of Tease is a burlesque centered learning establishment open to all ages, gender and abilities (Must be at least 18 years of age to sign-up for Burlesque Classes, no age limit for Dance Classes. Anyone under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
ALL Burly-Q & Dance CLASSES:Please wear comfortable close-fitting clothes you can move in. Bring a towel, water, flats with heel strap (won't slip off foot) & a pair of heels with heel strap (won't slip off foot and heel no higher than 3") & Dance or character shoes preferred. No slippers. Males, please contact us for further details. Additional supplies are listed under class description. There is never any nudity. Students are encouraged to honor their own comfort levels and limits. CLASS/WORKSHOP FEES:
Classes range from $15-$20 in advance (SEE EACH PREPAIDCLASS PRICE BELOW) Please note there will be an additional $5 fee per class for drop-ins day of. PRE-REGISTRATION SUGGESTED.
Weekend SPECIAL (only available online): $100 for 2 days of workshops (Sat 2/23 & Sun 2/24). Take as many of as little classes as you like. PRE-REGISTRATION SUGGESTED, LIMITED SPACE.
Please show up to class no more than 15minutes before classstart. ALL CLASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE unless cancelled in advance by Cherry Blossom Cabaret. Special circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Some classes require a minimum amount of students. If any classes are cancelled, students will be reimbursed in full. Students will be notified via email by refund of payment a minimum of one day prior to the class date.
FEBRUARY 23-24 WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23 WORKSHOPS 12:30-5:15pm

12:30-1:30pm (1 hour) $15 SENSUAL STRETCH & TONE BY MADAME X
Stretching is something that is overlooked on a day to day basis. So is sensuality and loving oneself. This class will incorporate both: achieving a healthier and more limber external physique, while gaining self-confidence and love of your unique feminine physique. This class will incorporate various yoga-asanas, pilates and dance-based exercises and stretches, but with a special twist (pun intended!).
1:45-2:45pm (1 hour) $15 1:45-2:45 ADD SLINK TO YOUR STEP BY LOLA LOVE
This class is aimed to add a little sultry slink to your step. Topics include musicality, grace, walking in heels and offers many creative combos to help you perform with grace.
3-4pm (1 hour) $15 BOA BABY BY LOLA LOVE
This boa class is for beginners and intermediate students. We will cover the basics of boa work and move into more intermediate boa tricks.
4-5:15 (1 hour) $15 LOVE THE BODY YOU HAVE NOW BY LOLA LOVE
This class focuses on learning to accept the body you have now. Not ten weeks from now, not ten pounds from now but today. This workshop is part lecture and part exercise. Please bring a pencil, paper and be ready to leave the workshop feeling more confident!
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 WORKHOPS 1:15-5:45pm

1:15-2:15-pm (1 hours) $15 BUMP N GRIND BASICS BY MISS CATWINGS
You can't have burlesque without some Bump n Grind! Learn the classic moves of burlesque from Miss Catwings!
2:30-3:45 (1 hour) $15 HOW TO CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE BY MISS CATWINGS
This class is for beginners who want to build confidence and performers or soon to be performers who wish to add depth and variety to their performances.
4-5pm (1 hour) $20 EYELASH WORKSHOP BY MISS CATWINGS
Learn how to make your own eyelashes! (Comes with materials for 1 set each of lashes) Feathers, acrylic rhinestones, glitter, ribbon, some sequins provided! Feel free to bring your own materials as well!
