Take a much-needed break from midterms with Skidmores own Poppyfields and Emma Larson. Poppyfields are a queer folk punk band with influences that range from Jackson Browne to R.E.M. Though their music is often quite loud, for this show theyll be performing a stripped down, acoustic set that will spotlight their complex lyrics and harmonies.
Emma Larson is a singer-songwriter whose powerful alto voice has echoes of Amy Winehouse and Fiona Apple. She began writing her own music at the age of thirteen released her first EP in 2016, and will be releasing her debut album in 2017.
