Focus on the Brain - ADD/ADHD in Children and Adults
Do you have a child that is bouncing off the walls or acting out at school? Or a quiet child who seems to be daydreaming all the time? Do you know your child is smart, but isn't doing well in school? How about you? Do you feel disorganized or are having trouble listening or focusing on a conversation? While other things can certainly be at play, it's not uncommon for the diagnosis to be ADD or ADHD. It's also not uncommon for that diagnosis to be missed. Why is it so complicated?
