If you're planning to visit Cape Breton this event will give you a good taste of the culture you can expect to see. If you've already been there and love the island this will warm your heart. If you are from Cape Breton this will be a taste of home, bring your children/grandchildren to connect with their Cape Breton roots. All ages welcome, cash bar.

Wondering about the square dancing? Cape Breton square sets aren't actually square and they're not complicated. As long as you know your right hand from your left and can count as high as four you'll do just fine! There will also be callers in each set to guide you through the motions and make sure you stay on course. In addition to square sets there will also be waltzes for round dancing and some step dancing too. And of course you can always just sit back and enjoy the music too.
