Academy of Tease: January 26-27 Weekend Workshops
Cherry Blossom Cabaret's: Academy of Tease - "A HI-er Burlesque Learning Establishment." - Established August 2010. Burlesque is about loving your body, feeling beautiful, having fun and celebrating the glamour and beauty of being you!
The Academy of Tease is a burlesque centered learning establishment open to all ages, gender and abilities (Must be at least 18 years of age to sign-up for Burlesque Classes, no age limit for Dance Classes. Anyone under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
ALL Burly-Q & Dance CLASSES: Please wear comfortable close-fitting clothes you can move in. Bring a towel, water, flats with heel strap (won't slip off foot) & a pair of heels with heel strap (won't slip off foot and heel no higher than 3") & Dance or character shoes preferred. No slippers. Males, please contact us for further details. Additional supplies are listed under class description. There is never any nudity. Students are encouraged to honor their own comfort levels and limits. CLASS/WORKSHOP FEES:
Classes range from $15-$20 in advance (SEE EACH PREPAID CLASS PRICE BELOW) Please note there will be an additional $5 fee per class for drop-ins day of. PRE-REGISTRATION SUGGESTED.
Weekend SPECIAL (only available online): $100 for 2 days of workshops (Sat 1/26 & Sun 1/27). Take as many of as little classes as you like. PRE-REGISTRATION SUGGESTED, LIMITED SPACE.
Please show up to class no more than 15minutes before class start. ALL CLASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE unless cancelled in advance by Cherry Blossom Cabaret. Special circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Some classes require a minimum amount of students. If any classes are cancelled, students will be reimbursed in full. Students will be notified via email by refund of payment a minimum of one day prior to the class date.

12:30-1:30pm (1 hour) SENSUAL STRETCH & TONE BY MADAME X
Location: The Creative
Class Fee: $15
Stretching is something that is overlooked on a day to day basis. So is sensuality and loving oneself. This class will incorporate both: achieving a healthier and more limber external physique, while gaining self-confidence and love of your unique feminine physique. This class will incorporate various yoga-asanas, pilates and dance-based exercises and stretches, but with a special twist (pun intended!).

1:45-2:45pm (1 hour) BURLESQUE BASICS BY LOLA LOVE
Location: The Creative
Class Fee: $15
Learn the basics of burlesque! This intro class offers information on the history of burlesque and fundamentals of showgirl posture, walking, bump n grind basics, shimmy, body positioning and of course, the tease. This class is REQUIRED before taking more advanced classes.

3-4pm (1 hour) PEELS & REVEALS BY LOLA LOVE
Location: The Creative
Class Fee: $15
Intro to key burly-q basics movements with a focus on glove and stocking peels. Bring a pair of gloves, thigh-high stockings and if you're feeling adventurous, another item of clothing to peel off.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 27
12-1pm (1 hour) PILATES BY MADAME X
Location: The ARTS at Marks Garage
Class Fee: $15
Being sexy is not easy! Sensual movement and tease require a solid foundation of bodily strength and endurance. Also, it is important to maintain a balanced skeletal-muscular system for proper everyday good health. Taught by a certified Pilates instructor (BASI Pilates), this class will help you strengthen and tone muscles you may or may not know you've had, as well as help you to achieve balance, body awareness, rhythm and coordination.

1:15-3:15-pm (2 hours) GROUND ME BY MADAME X
Location: The ARTS at Marks Garage
Class Fee: $20
Burlesque does not always happen standing up. Sometimes a level change, such as seated, kneeling, or lying down, can add a new and exciting element to things. Come and learn what you can do on the floor, as well as how to transition from standing to kneeling to lying down, and then getting back up again in a cute and sexy manner! Focusing on movement, as well as clothing removal/reveals.

3:30-4:30pm (1 hour) BURLY-Q BOOTY! BY MISS CATWINGS
Location: The ARTS at Marks Garage
Class Fee: $15
Burly-Q Booty Intensive. Learn Miss Catwings' techniques on how to tone and strengthen while having a whole lot of fun! After just one session you will see the difference!
SUNDAY, JANUARY 27
4:45-5:45 (1 hour) PASTIE WORKSHOP BY MISS CATWINGS
Location: The ARTS at Marks Garage
Class Fee: $20 (Comes with materials for 1 set each of pasties, each additional set = $2 to make)
Learn how to make your own nifty nipple covers! Feathers, acrylic rhinestones, glitter, ribbon, some sequins provided! Feel free to bring your own materials as well! Bring a glue gun or E6000 glue if you have.
