Join Les Dames Nashville for a fall luncheon celebrating food writer and cookbook author Joan Nathan at Margot Cafe. Joan Nathan is a frequent contributor to The New York Times and other publications. She is the author of eleven books, including "Jewish Cooking in America" and "The New American Cooking," both of which won both James Beard Awards and IACP Awards. Joan will be joining us with copies of her latest release "King Solomon's Table." Cooking from Joan's book, Chef Margot McCormack will prepare three courses paired with wines.
Lunch prices include wine pairings, tax, and gratuity. Guests may purchase lunch only ($60), or lunch with a copy of "King Solomon's Table" ($90). Joan will be available to sign books that are purchased during the event.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Les Dames Nashville Scholarship Fund, which provides culinary school assistance and career grant assistance to women in the food, farming, beverage, and hospitality fields in Middle Tennessee.
