Backyard Chickens 101
Visit Collective Roots' beautiful organic garden and meet our lovely flock of chickens. In this class you'll learn everything you need to know to confidently raise your own backyard chickens. We'll discuss coop designs, nesting boxes, food & water, varieties of chickens, and general chick and hen care. We'll send you home with educational materials and point you in the direction of other local chicken-related resources. At the end of class you'll also have the opportunity to place an order for chicks.
