On this one very special night, experience Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon performed LIVE by the band Pink Freud under choreographed laser images. Laser and planetarium projector light will fill the dome, allowing the music and images to envelope the audience. More than a million laser-generated hues and colors poetically express each timeless track.
Pink Freud is a band of veteran musicians who have gotten together to perform the classic rock of Pink Floyd, the way it was meant to be heard: live and with power. Hearing the music live accompanied by laser effects is a very rare opportunity.
Do note that each show is sold individually, and tickets will not be transferred or honored from a different show time or date. Choose either the 6 pm or 7 pm show.
This performance is the first in a monthly series presented in partnership with AMP Concerts as part of the New Mexico Culture Squared initiative. The 6 & 7 p.m. performances will include a 30 minute post-show tour of the Wild Music exhibit, which includes hands-on activities exploring the origins of music and how it is created in nature and by man.
Please plan to arrive and pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes before each show. Due to the darkness of the Planetarium, late seating is never permitted; sorry, no exceptions. Online ticket sales stop at noon the day of the event. If there are any seats available, they will be sold at the door starting at noon on a first come, first serve basis.
There will be no discounts offered for students or children at any of the evening shows. No children under 3 will be admitted to the evening shows. Note that each show is sold individually, and tickets will not be transferred or honored from a different show time or date.
