The Architects Limited Immunity for Contract Decisions and Interpretations
1.5 LU/HSW credits available for attendees
This course is intended to provide the architect with a clear understanding of their limited immunity for their decisions rendered as the initial decision maker under the AIA A201-2007
1) Upon completion of this course, the participant will have an understanding of their limited immunity for decision made as initial decision maker, in good faith, under AIA A201-2007
2) Upon completion of this course, the participant will have an understanding of the meaning of all pertinent sections of AIA A201-2007 relating to the architect serving as the initial decision maker
3) Upon completion of this course, the participant will have an understanding of Florida case law on the application and exceptions to the limited immunity doctrine
4) Upon completion of this course, the participant will have an understanding of Florida case law regarding tortuous interference and negligent interference claims by contractors against the architect providing construction administration services.
