Mallory Square is one of the original "Jam Bands" of greater Delaware. The band began their career under the name of "Caravan" on Wilbur Street in Newark, DE in 1994. Its current line up consisting of Kevin McCabe (drums), Jamie Price (guitar), Aaron Goldstein (bass), and T.J. Ferrara (keyboards) has been together since 2006. The four members have combined to perform in numerous shows and festivals across the northeast. Amongst other highlights was a 2010 performance where they shared the stage with popular recording artist G Love. Mallory Square draws its influence from many styles and their blend of vocal harmonies and musical improvisation creates a unique sound that stays true to their roots.
The Hold Up
From the Jailhouse to the Roadhouse comes a group that knows how to shake, rattle and howl. The Hold-Up is a 5 piece group whose songs infuse a mix of Rock and Blues performed with the power and energy of punk. Pulling influence from artists like Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters and The Doors, they not only bring strong musical composition but also a kind of cinematic presence you won't want to miss. This is their 2nd year on the Delaware Music Scene, having recently been featured in 2010 Spark's "Summer Music Series", Out and About's "MusikArmageddon" and Wstw's "Hometown Heroes".
Spokey Speaky is a four piece band out of Wilmington, DE that aims to spread the positive vibes of reggae music through its soulful, high energy live performances. Playing a wide range of reggae classics from the old school to the new, the goal of the members is to sastify and entertain reggae fans, while enlightening those who may not have been exposed to the genre otherwise. With an emphasis on emotion and musicianship, Spokey Speaky delivers a live performance that refuses to be ignored and simply cannot be replicated.
