Affair of the Heart 2017
Affair of the Heart is an annual event held by students from the University of Albertas Faculty of Medicine in support of a local childrens charity. Over the past 9 years, we have raised tens of thousands of dollars for causes such as Little Warriors, Stollery Childrens Hospital Foundation and Basically Babies.

The gala includes dinner, compelling speakers, a silent auction, and outstanding entertainment featuring medical students, faculty, and external supporters. Affair of the Heart 2017 will be held on November 18th at the Edmonton Inn and Conference Centre.

This year we will be supporting Crystal Kids. Crystal Kids (Charitable Registration Number is 892902164RR0001) was formed in 1992 and has been doing integral work with at risk youth, families and seniors for over 23 years to nurture and support at-risk and vulnerable children and youth. This year Crystal Kids will serve over 300 children and an average of about sixty children per day in the centre. However, there are days that upwards of 120 children can be seen.
