Laundry and Bourbon / Lone Star
Biloxi Little Theatre is proud to present "Laundry and Bourbon" and "Lone Star" by James McLure.
Directed by Ryan Reinike, these complementary one-act comedies create a full evening of theatre.
Set on the front porch of the home of Roy and Elizabeth in a small Texas town, "Laundry & Bourbon" is a dark comedy about the themes of love, marriage and fidelity. Elizabeth and her friends drink bourbon, fold laundry and gossip about the town's secrets.
The companion "Lone Star" features brothers Ray and Roy drinking and hanging outside a local bar. Roy discusses his marital problems, his Vietnam experiences and his extramarital activities. The clever banter between brothers reveal that things are not always as straightforward as they appear.
"Laundry & Bourbon" and "Lone Star" offer you the chance to see two sides of the same coin, and reveal intimate details of life in a small Texas town.
Mature audiences only. Contains scenes of a sexual nature and some strong language.
