Disaster!
Disaster! by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotick
From the zany genius of comedy writer and musical theatre expert, Seth Rudetsky, comes this hilarious pop parody of The Poseidon Adventure. Its 1979, and the opening night for New York Citys first floating casino, The Barracuda, has drawn a motley assortment of crew members and passengers, including a faded disco queen, a crusading nun, a lonely ladies man, an intrepid female reporter, and an earthquake specialist, terrified that one small tremor will send The Barracuda to the bottom of the sea! When all hell breaks loose, the passengers must try to survive . . . all to a score of 70s pop hits, including Never Can Say Goodbye, Feelings, Mockingbird, and I Am Woman. Join the groovy fashions, the bad haircuts and the great music as we spoof every disaster flick of the 1970s.
Directed by Brad Friedman, musical direction by Rick Reynolds and choreography by James Zongus.
NOTE: Online ticket sales end 4 hours prior to the show. Tickets will be available for sale at the venue 1 hour prior to event start time.
