Black Cedar
Performing extensively in Northern California, Black Cedar's accolades include grants from the Zellerbach Family Foundation and the San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music, plus an invite to the National Flute Association Convention. In just three years, Black Cedar has performed approximately 50 concerts throughout California, and theyve appeared repeatedly on KALW 91.7 FM in San Francisco, KKUP 91.5 FM in San Jose, and KWMR 90.5 FM in Marin County.
Performing music by J.S. Bach, D. Scarlatti, Heitor Villa Lobos, Astor Piazzola, Klaus Stahmer, and a newly commissioned work by Ursula Kwong-Brown.
Performers are: Kris Palmer Flute; Isaac Pastor-Chermak, cello; Steve Lin, guitar.
