Mai Matsumoto, the 17 year-old winner of the Navaroli Young Musicians Competition will solo on violin with the South Valley Symphony playing TCHAIKOVSKY'S VIOLIN CONCERTO IN D major. Ms Matsumoto is a highly accomplished and gifted musician, her performance is stunning.
The Symphony brass and woodwind sections will be joined by high school honor band students to perform GABRIELI's CANZONA SEPTIMI NO 2.
The program will include ROSSINI Overture from AN ITALIAN GIRL IN ALGIERS, and the Ballet Suite from FAUST by GOUNOD.
