Season Tickets - Mostly Sammamish
Enjoy the entire 2017/2018 Season with the Sammamish Symphony! In October, join us at Benaroya Hall for the World Premiere of a newly transcribed "Requiem" by Alois Storch transcribed by our own Conductor and Music Director, Adam Stern. This joint concert with Cantare Vocal Ensemble and The Liberty Singers also features the incredible Faure "Requiem" and a Viola Concerto performed by Alois Storch's great-great-great-granddaughter Aloysia Friedmann. In December, we bring back our traditional Holiday "Pops" concert with favorite symphonic bonbons and a few surprises! In the new year, hear Mendelssohn, Mozart and Ravel in our February concert featuring the return of tenor soloist Marcus Shelton. April brings you some of the most engaging Russian symphonic music by such masters as Glinka, Borodin, and the popular Capriccio Espagnole by Rimsky-Korsakov. The SSO's own principal cellist Shiang-Yin Lee is featured in Glazunov's "Song of the Minstrel". June brings the season to a close in a blaze of Romanticism with one of the greatest of all 19th-century symphonies, Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 5".
October concert in Benaroya Hall, December, February, and June in Sammamish, and April in Bellevue.
