Mountainfilm on Tour 2017

The Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA) and Central Colorado Conservancy are teaming up once again to bring two evenings of film from Mountainfilm on Tour. Mountainfilm is a dynamic organization with a festival of films, people, stories and ideas that celebrates indomitable spirit, educates and inspires audiences, and motivates individuals and communities to advance solutions for a livable world.

Ticket proceeds will be used to support youth outdoor and environmental education programs, and land conservation through these two organizations, as well Student Stewards projects through the Crest Academy at Salida School District.

There are two unique Mountainfilm showings in Chaffee County this year with different films each night, plus membership incentives for those who are new to join either GARNA or the Conservancy. The October 19 showing will include a great line-up of films at the Salida High School Auditorium, at 26 Jones Avenue, Salida, CO, 81201.The October 20 showing will include the different films at the Buena Vista Community Center, at 715 E. Main Street, Buena Vista, CO, 81211. Doors open at 6:00 pm both nights and films start at 7:00 pm. Food, beverages and popcorn will be available for purchase at the Buena Vista showing on October 20.
