Lou Reed - co-conspirator of Andy Warhol, principle songwriter of the Velvet Underground and front-man of a celebrated solo career that has inspired a generation of creative artists of all genres with his sometimes brutal, sometimes beautiful songbook reflecting the fragile characters of a merciless city, both the vicious and the glamorous, seeking to escape the night-darkness on a path laced with glory.

Writer Thomas Dimopoulos will act as guide through an evening celebrating Reeds career with sound and vision provided by Capital Region musician and writer extraordinaire Michael Eck, downtown New York City music scene veteran Jahn Xavier, an exclusive visual display of more than 100 original Warhol-taken images courtesy of the Tang Teaching Museum collection, and more.
