Burlesque 101 Spring 6-week Performance Workshop
Learn to create your very own Burlesque routine under the tutelage of Academy Instructors! The famed Burlesque 101 6-week course has been seen in "A Wink and A Smile", available now on DVD and Netflix!

Course fee includes Six group lessons, Five private lessons, Class 8x10, and a public graduation recital at the West Hall Theatre in the Oddfellows Building on Saturday, April 20! After graduating, there will be a student potluck where you will watch the video of your performance and decompress with your fellow students.
Students will learn the fundamentals of Burlesque history and style, develop a character and persona, and create, costume, and choreograph their own routine in a fully supported atmosphere. Please note that this is NOT a dance class, and we encourage you to take Bump & Grind with Ruby MImosa if you wish to expand your movement skills!
Weekly group classes will be held Mondays from 6-8 pm in the Oddfellows Building on Capitol Hill starting on March 11th. Students must be available for one weekly half-hour private session during the week or weekend, beginning the second week of the session.
Tuition is $525 if registered before February 15th, $595 if registered after February 15th. Register on this site with a $95 non-refundable deposit to secure your place.
