Tchaikovsky Piano Trio with Lysander @ TMORA
LOFTrecital is BACK! We are thrilled to kick off our 2017/18 season of all-Russian repertoire with the celebrated TCHAIKOVSKY PIANO TRIO at The Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis. This 50 minute masterpiece is Tchaikovsky's only composition for the piano, violin, cello ensemble, and is one of his most difficult works. It is fiery, raw, stunningly lyrical and the perfect choice for our season kick off!
Performing will be critically acclaimed New York-based ensemble the LYSANDER PIANO TRIO (www.lysandertrio.com). Hailed by the New York Times as having a "rich sound and nuanced musicianship," we are incredibly excited to welcome them into the LOFTrecital family and to feature their artistry in what is sure to be our biggest season yet!
Cocktails and light refreshments will be provided
LOFTrecital is FREE and open to the public, but due to limited space an online reservation is required.
