"It's not really supposed to feel like a 'concerty-concert,' what ever that might be..." he laughs. "It's supposed to feel like a little get together with friends." Shifting in his chair, he explains, "my music has always been very personal, so for someone to honestly listen and truly understand, they're acting as a friend - actually, at that point - they really do become a friend."
Asking to describe his live shows, he says "I'm a goof on stage. I never really know what to say. I do my best to say meaningful, deep things... but somehow, toward the end, I usually end up shooting off on silly tangents... completely unrelated ideas. Pretty much negating the pervious attempt at something thought provoking," he laughs.
"I want my friends in the audience to have a good time. I hope that they enjoy the 'intimate-stripped-down-acoustic' feel of the show. I want them to see the person behind the YouTube videos as a whole. There's more to me than just an upper body and a guitar. I have legs. I wear pants. I own shoes," catching himself on a tangent, he asks, "See? There I go again."
