Carlton Allen, Ph.D., Former NASA Curator of Astromaterials
Extraterrestrial materials collected from the Moon, asteroids, and comets, are used for scientific research on Earth to understand the formation and evolution of our solar system, and are stored at NASAs Johnson Spaceflight Center. This is a unique opportunity to hear from Dr. Carlton Allen, who spent 14 years as NASAs Astromaterials Curator and Manager of the Astromaterials Acquisition and Curation Office.
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science reserves the right to cancel any event that does not reach a minimum of 6 participants.
Cost includes all evening activities - exhibit, observatory viewing and more.
Online ticket sales stop at noon the day of the lecture. If seats are available, they will be sold at the NMMNH&S's admissions desk on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5:30pm.
