We Made Non-Conventional Medical Choices, Now What?
More and more parents are choosing to utilize non-conventional medical approaches in the care of their children. At times these approaches are being used to complement conventional medical recommendations, and at other times, these approaches are being used in lieu of conventional medical recommendations.
If parents are choosing to sleep in a family bed, do prolonged nursing and attachment parenting, homeschool, refuse vaccinations on religious and philosophical grounds, implement nutritional, herbal, homeopathic, chiropractic and Chinese Medical interventions, while delaying, or even foregoing the use of pharmaceuticals, how can they be supported that they may be making the more optimal choices for their children?
