Saturday (2/16/2013) from 8:30 am 5:00 pm. This seminar consists of lectures: Mechanics of Queen Rearing including Instrumental Insemination techniques;"Bee Yard Sweat Equity"-The Road to Gaining/Sharing Knowledge; Honey Bee Biology; Honey Bee Pests and Diseases; Swarms and Swarm Prevention; Maximizing Honey Production; and Nuc Production for Sustainable Beekeeping. This seminar was developed for those interested with 4+ years of beekeeping experience who have mastered the art of successfully maintaining numerous hives. Seating is limited to 35 beekeepers!! Cost: $35.00 per person includes all handouts and presentation talking points as well as homemade refreshments, and lunch on Saturday.
