Faten presents the "Al Massraweya Gala Show: Authentic Soul of Egyptian Folkloric Dance."
Come out for an exciting show filled with brand new and revived classic group dances choreographed by world-renowned master instructor Faten, a former member of the National Folkloric Troupe of Egypt.
Dance styles include: Saidi (Raqs Assaya), Fellahi, Ghawazee, Orientale, Lebanese Debke, Nubian, Haggalah and more. There will also be dazzling belly dance ("Raqs Sharqi") performances by troupe soloists and guest belly dance star and costume designer Katalin Schafer from Hungary on her first visit to the United States!
The show is on Sunday March 3, 2013 @ Artisphere's Dome Theatre (1101 Wilson Boulevard Arlington, VA 22209). Doors open at 2pm, show starts at 3pm. Tickets: $25.
