Thank you to the over 450 people who attended Consonare's season kick-off concert! Now, we delve deeper with a little night music. Allow an evening lullaby to transport you to an otherworldly state and be pleased to feel the expanse of a dream. Let your thoughts be quieted as sonnets wax to the moon's content and stave off morning waking. Eric Whitacre's iconic "Sleep" introduces our venture into an evening of "Thoughts on the Moon," "Claire de Lune," and Morten Lauridsen's "Soneto de la Noche." Consonare is excited to announce collaboration with the Cowlitz Indian Tribe Drumming Group to bring pulse to our dreamscapes. "Will You Teach Your Children," features the words of Chief Seattle with percussion collaboration. "Ute Sundance" holds the essence of ritual connection to the earth while beckoning a ceremonial cleansing in both metaphorical and physical light of day. FREE OUTREACH TICKETS are available to secondary/collegiate music students. Those who "SHARE" Consonare's facebook event on their facebook page will be entered in a drawing for a pair of FREE tickets for the upcoming concert.
