THE FINE ART OF TASSEL TWIRLING with Frenchie Kiss (Chicago)
The Playful Peacock Showgirl Academy & The 2013 Minneapolis Burlesque Festival are proud to present Frenchie Kiss!
No matter what your size, you too can learn to twirl! Frenchie Kiss will walk you through the ABC's (and DD's!) of tassel twirling, starting with how to properly put on your tassels, and ending with how to get them moving in all directions. You can buy Frenchie's tassels at the workshop. You'll want to make sure to have these specially made tassels for optimum twirlability. Tassels will be sold for $30, and will include tassel tape. Please wear yoga or dance clothes, and be ready to take off your top.
About the Instructor Frenchie Kiss is the Temptress of Twirl! Little Miss Ooh la la! She performs regularly as one of the award-winning Chicago Starlets, teaches at Studio L'amour, and can be seen at the Music Box Theater, Mayne Stage Theater, Park West, The Everleigh Social Club and other venues in Chicago. Frenchie competed in Miss Exotic World 2008 (Best Debut), Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend 2009 and 2010 (winning Best Troupe 2010), and she most recently won Burlesque Hall of Fame Best Duo 2012 with Jett Adore. Frenchie has performed in the Superstars of Burlesque, at the Toronto Burlesque Festival, the Best of Midwest Burlesk Festival, and at the House of Blues in New Orleans, Dallas and Houston.
