| Description |
As a component of SBC's 2008 Event Series we're hosting four regional Stewardship Contracting Workshops in the month of May. Each workshop will focus on developing collaborative contracts between community partners and the U.S. Forest Service and BLM to achieve multiple ecological, community, and economic benefits. If you are interested in developing the Sierra Nevada's green economy, restoring the health of our public lands, and reducing the risk of catastrophic wildfire in our forest communities, please attend.
Sierra Business Council is partnering with University of Oregon's Resource Innovations and UC Berkeley's Center for Forestry to host two-day workshops in Auburn and Sonora, and one-day workshops in Bishop and Chester.
Capacity for these events is limited and they will sell out. Please reserve your space now. If these workshops have sold out, please contact Leah Seagraves to place your name on a waitlist.
