THE HALF MOON JUG BAND
https://halfmoonjugband.com
The HMJB is a three-man mob of musical desperadoes waging a daily battle against the humdrum forces of boredom and inaction. They fend off the blahs with banjoes, kazoos, guitars, saxophones and silliness. They want to make you dance and sing along at the top of your lungs.

The band thrives on interaction with their audiences. For the HMJB, its not just about standing on stage playing songs. Its about singing, dancing and making people happy. They do whatever it takes to put on a show for all ages, studding every performance with jokes, stories and mandatory sing-alongs. No one gets out without singing. No one.

CAROUSEL HORSE FARM
https://chfmaine.com/
CHF offers guided trail riding on their scenic property as well as longer rides into the nearby Jugtown Forest in the heart of Maines lakes region. Enjoy the Maine wilderness like never before. Rides for first timers to seasoned riders mean everyone can have fun.

The farm also features winter sleigh rides during the colder months as well as wagon and carriage rides when the weather is warmer. Fancy carriages and wagons may be hired for off-site special events, too.

JACKMAN PRESCHOOL
The JP operates under the nonprofit Jackman Region Community Association. The preschool is licensed by the State of Maine but is too small to qualify for federal funds. Instead, the JP relies on volunteers each class day and on fundraisers throughout the year to provide scholarships for economically disadvantaged families and to purchase supplies the preschool needs.

Jackman is a small town in western Maine on the old Canada road. It has a population of less than a thousand people. It recently lost its 24-hour medical center and nursing home due to a lack of funding. This is why its so important to support non-profit community organizations like the Jackman Preschool.
