Never Go to a Doctor Whose Plants Have Died
Reminisce on the humor and humanity of Erma Bombeck, one of our most beloved writers. Her columns were taped on refrigerators and mailed to kids at college. We will look at her life, her impact, and her place in American Humor and journalism. Be prepared to laugh and possibly cry! If you have a favorite Erma column, bring it along!
Presenter, Susan McGough has an MA in American Studies from the University of Hawaii. Currently, she is an instructor of American History and Literature.
This class will be held on Wednesday, September 27 from 10am to noon at the Community and Cultural Center at 17000 Monterey Road. The $10 fee per class supports Older Adult Services in Morgan Hill.
