Rainbow Theatre at Slayton House offers a performance of "World on a String" presented by Bob Brown Puppets on Friday, January 18, 2013. Master Puppeteer Bob Brown has been creating marionette magic for over fifty years. In his delightful shows, the marionettes are manipulated in front of a solid black curtain, allowing the strings to completely vanish and the rich, jewel-like colors of the sets and costumes to 'pop' right off the stage. Bob acts out the story using music, sound effects, and his incredible range of character voices.

Bob's clever creatures travel to numerous countries where you will meet Matilda, the kangaroo and her bouncing baby in Australia, Ling-Ling the amazing Chinese dragon, Bongo the monkey as he flies through the air with the greatest of ease in the Congo and lots more from a variety of countries! Be there as Bob's rollicking, playful, multi-talented puppets join their good friends all over the world.

Performance is at 10:00am in the Slayton House Theatre in the Village of Wilde Lake in Columbia.
