Daniel Flores Dance presents Gritos y cuentos de la frontera (Cries and stories from the border).
In this evening of dance, we will intertwine our modern dance with Mexican folk dances to present a singular vision that pays tribute to Mexican heritage and culture, by traveling along the Mexico-US border through its regional music, dances, and current sociopolitical dynamics.
The event will culminate with a reception to meet all of our participating artists over traditional Mexican snacks and drinks!
