Howl at the Moon alongside the shimmering Hudson. Excellent Creature Productions brings you an evening of enchantment: a cool summer's eve with song, dance, food, drink and the magic of the full moon on the river. Featuring music and scenes from Broadway and local talents including Ray Bokhour, Phil Geoffrey Bond, Maia Guest, Lisa Sabin, Claire Wellin and Dar Williams. Live jazz will lift you up through cocktail hour and set you twirling under the moonlight.
Spinning out of the whirlpool of Worlds End Theatre, Christine Bokhour and Greg Miller found a kindred intent. Excellent Creature Productions sparked from the desire to expand professional theater in the Hudson Valley, while illuminating our shared humanity through provocative readings, discussions and productions.
After working with the Philipstown Depot Theatre to present a new one man adaptation of A Christmas Carol in 2014-15, and the Dialogues with Drama reading series in 2016-17, Excellent Creature is expanding. Our reading series will continue in 2017-18 and we will forge ahead with a new full production at the Depot in the winter of 2018. For this we look to you for support.
Supporting the arts is the answer to what ails you. What better way to celebrate our connectivity than to sing and dance by the light of the moon? Howling as the full moon rises at 7:38pm is optional but encouraged.
