Performance Piece
A unique and imaginative theatre piece. The piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.
This show is a special offering and not part of Town and Country Player's Season Ticket Price.
The production will be performed by a different T&C couple each night. With T&C substituting the 8/12 performance with Other Letters.
Love is not just between a man and a woman. Relationships for same sex partners are just as flawed, just as messy, and just as wonderful as straight relationships. This isn't just a recreation of A. R. Gurney's LOVE LETTERS with gay couples; these are the letters of beautiful relationships that happen to be between two men. People who are friends, lovers, and confidants.
