Champagne Tasting @ GPSCY
After two years of splendid Champagne classes, we're going to break a bit with the past and offer something truly unique: a terroir based Champagne class that focuses on the differences in fruit coming from the top Grand Cru and Premiere Cru villages of the Aube and Marne. Certainly a sure way to impress even the most jaded Champagne Snobs, we'll be discussing the ripening qualities of Verzenay, the acidty of Mesnil and the balance of Ay.
So of course, we'll be focusing on growers who honor the integrity of a single village's climate and soil, and to this end, we've already amassed a collection of some of the bottles most highly sought after by people who really know their bubbles. What about old Champagne? We've got a bottle that's older than some of you. Be There.
Classes are available only to Yale graduate and professional students and their guests. Yale ID and proof of age (21+) are required at time of entry.
